  • Question:  Are the Adult Education classes like high school classes?
    Answer:  No, in the adult education program you are recognized as a mature person and treated accordingly. Participants work on individualized/self-paced lessons along with group and computer-assisted instruction.

  • Question:  What are the age requirements to enroll in the adult education program?
    Answer:  Individuals must be at least 17 years of age or older and not currently enrolled in the K-12 system.

  • Question:  Are individuals who work offshore or shift work allowed to enroll?
    Answer:  Yes, the program is designed to meet the needs of all participants.

  • Question:  Are individuals who already have a high school diploma allowed to enroll?
    Answer:  Yes, even though you have a diploma, you may need to enroll to upgrade skills or prepare to enter a post-secondary institution or training program.

  • Question:  Are individuals only allowed to attend in the parish in which they live?
    Answer:  No, you may enroll in a program in a parish that is most conveniently located.
